As a key driver of IQ Solutions’ behavioral health education and technical assistance program support services, Deepa Chhatwal aligns technical initiatives with business objectives, ensuring a seamless integration of best practices. Deepa has more than 20 years of experience leading project teams and managing operating budgets of more than $25 million. She is an experienced public health professional with extensive experience in management, program development, community engagement and an effective leader and mentor with focus on fostering growth quality and efficiency, and collaborative organizational culture. She leads, plans, and oversees contracts for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration Disaster Technical Assistance Center; the National Institute of Mental Health; the National Institute on Drug Abuse; the National Institute of Health’s Helping to End Addiction Long-term® Initiative, or NIH HEAL Initiative®; and the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism.
Deepa is a subject matter expert in developing methodologies for problem solving and ensuring compliance with organizational requirements. She has particular expertise in working effectively with senior-level policy makers, researchers, and scientific writers to plan, publish, and disseminate scientific information on issues such as substance use disorder, opioid addiction, and mental health.
